Black granite, as its name suggests, has a black or smoky background, which is slightly different in different types of background color along with long white fading lines. This stone is very resistant, stubborn and stable against cold, heat, weathering, sunlight and harsh environment. Today, epoxy materials are used to make this granite more attractive. This stone is also processed with paint and epoxy. The coloring of black granite stone can be of excellent or average quality. The difference will be in the appearance and durability of the color of the stone. Dyeing makes it blacker and also hides the grains and few gray streaks. This is most useful in the use of tombstones.
